Foundational Shift

The prints are made with high quality archival paper or canvas and inks meant to last a lifetime and beyond.

Paper prints: Signed and numbered by the artist in limited editions. Two sizes available. Includes 1" white border.

• 12" x 27" (10 x 25 image) edition of 100
• 18" x 42" (16 x 40 image, size of the original painting) edition of 50.

Canvas prints: 

• Stretched and wrapped around a 1.5” deep frame and ready to hang.
• 16" x 40" (size of the orginal painting).
• Edition of 10.

The original painting Foundational Shift was completed in July 2018. It is a 16" x 40" acrylic on canvas and is sold. This piece - like all of my work - is a blend of biological forms, patterns in nature, and my own creative surreal elements. Forms from nature include part of a bird on the left and part of a siphonophore (related to jellyfish) at center. This piece contains many geometric structures, or components that appear more man-made than natural. This represents a balance, or sometimes lack of balance between man and nature. The title "Foundational Shift" references this balance and implies we humans may need a shift in our foundations of thinking and acting to preserve and sustain this beautiful planet and everything it contains.

If you are not satisfied with your print or original painting within 30 days of receiving it you may return it for a full refund once I have received the returned item in new condition. You are responsible for return shipping costs and packaging. I recommend saving the original packaging for 30 days, - especially for original paintings and canvas prints - if you are considering whether or not the piece will be a good fit in your home. (I have not yet had anyone return a painting or print, knock on wood!) :)
