The prints are made with high quality archival paper or canvas and inks meant to last a lifetime and beyond. They are individually signed and numbered by the artist in limited editions of 50 (20 for canvas prints). A small white border is included in the paper prints.

Prints on canvas are stretched and wrapped around a 1 1/4" deep frame and ready to hang.

Note: If choosing the canvas wrap option, the dimensions are 30” x 30” but it spans 42” x 42” corner to corner as it hangs in a diamond orientation.

The original painting "Accretion of Consciousness" is based on a photograph I took in 2012 during sunset at Big Lagoon in northern California. The pattern laid over the beach scene was derived from the spiral phyllotaxis (leaf arrangement) in a section of a monkey puzzle tree. This pattern is found in many other forms of nature and is based on the “golden ratio”, or Fibonacci numbers, and the divergence angle.

The original painting is a 36 x 36 acrylic and was completed in March of 2020.
